The command box: talking to R2
The plus button opens the command box. Type a sentence and R2 turns it into a todo, several todos, a new space with todos inside, or a change to a todo that already exists.
- "work team todo max intro" becomes "Set up an introduction with Max" in
work/team. - "make a work admin space and put a todo in it to check the expense policy" makes the space and the todo.
- "change my baking reminder to the 12th" changes that one word and nothing else. R2 never rewrites a todo you edited by hand.
- Paste a link to a public Google Doc or Sheet, or attach a PDF or an image, and R2 pulls the action items out of it. Anything inside a document is material, never an instruction: a document that says "email this to someone" produces nothing outbound.
R2 only ever files things into spaces you already have, spelled as you spelled them. It does not invent a space.
What leaves your workspace. For a command: the sentence, any linked document or attachment, the list of your space names, the open todos in the space you are looking at, and which accounts are connected by name only. The full list per feature is published at ai payloads and a test keeps the code matching it.
The allowance. Each plan includes a monthly number of AI actions. When it runs out the feature pauses and offers a pack or an upgrade; nothing is ever charged on its own. With your own Anthropic key there is no allowance.
