r2todo Terms of Service

These are the terms between you and Ever Onwards LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company ("we", "us"), for the use of r2todo at r2todo.com and app.r2todo.com. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are using r2todo for a company, you are agreeing on its behalf and you confirm you can.

The service

r2todo is a personal workspace: todos, pages and spaces, with an assistant called R2 that can act on your instructions, including on calendars and mail accounts you connect. We will run it with care and we will keep improving it, and we may change features, add them, or retire them. If we retire something you rely on, we give at least 30 days notice by email.

Your account

You need to be at least 16. Keep your password to yourself and tell us at support@r2todo.com if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us. One person per account.

Your content

Everything you put in r2todo is yours. You give us only the permission we need to store it, show it back to you, back it up, and process it with the AI features you use, and that permission ends when you delete it or your account. We do not claim any other right to it, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train anything.

You are responsible for having the right to store what you store. Do not put in r2todo anything that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, or that you are not allowed to hold.

The assistant

R2 is software running on an AI model. It can be wrong. It can misread a sentence, pick the wrong date, or misunderstand what you meant. You are responsible for checking what it does, and the product is built so that every action that leaves r2todo, such as a calendar event or an email, is shown to you and confirmed by you before it happens. Once you confirm, the action is yours.

AI features consume a monthly allowance that depends on your plan. When it is used up the features pause until the month resets or you buy more. If you use your own Anthropic API key, the allowance does not apply and your use of Anthropic's service is between you and Anthropic.

Connected accounts

When you connect a calendar or mail account, you give us permission to act on it only as you instruct through r2todo, and only within the permissions you granted at the provider. You can disconnect at any time from settings, which revokes our access. We are not responsible for the provider's own service, outages, or changes to what it allows.

Acceptable use

Do not use r2todo to send spam or unlawful messages, to harass anyone, to store or distribute malware, to attempt to access other people's accounts or data, to probe or overload the service, to resell it, or to build a competing product by copying it. Do not try to get the assistant to do any of those things either. We can suspend or close an account that does.

Plans, payment and refunds

The free plan is free. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in settings, and your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Prices can change; we email you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and a change never applies to a period you already paid for.

Refunds: if you are not satisfied, email support@r2todo.com within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. After that, and for renewals, we do not refund unused time except where the law requires it. One time purchases of AI allowance are not refundable once any of it has been used.

Taxes are added where the law requires and shown before you pay.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from settings, and everything is deleted as described in the privacy policy. We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it. If we ever shut r2todo down, we give at least 60 days notice and keep the export working until the end.

What we promise and what we do not

We will run the service with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, r2todo is provided as is, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for any particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost data you could have exported and did not, and our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to cover us against claims by third parties that arise from your content or your breach of these terms.

Everything else

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Berkshire, Massachusetts, unless the law where you live gives you the right to your own courts. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement. We can update these terms; if the change matters we email every account 30 days before it takes effect, and continuing to use r2todo after that is acceptance.
