Connecting a calendar and sending mail

On the account page, Connect Google Calendar or Connect Microsoft calendar. You are asked for your password first, then sent to Google or Microsoft, which asks for one permission: events on your calendar. r2todo never asks to read your whole calendar and never asks at sign up.

What R2 does with it. Creates, moves and cancels the events you ask for, after you confirm each one. R2 never reads your calendar on its own initiative.

Mail, on paid plans, is a second permission on the same account: send only. Press Turn on mail next to the connection. R2 can then send an email you dictated and confirmed, from your own address. It cannot read your mailbox, and the draft lives in r2todo until you send it, never in your provider's drafts folder.

Disconnect revokes r2todo's access at Google and removes the token here. Microsoft offers no way for an app to revoke its own token, so a Microsoft disconnect removes the token here and you can remove r2todo under your Microsoft account's privacy settings as well.

Tokens are stored encrypted with a key per row, opened only inside the action that uses them, and never shown to anyone, including you.

Not supported. Proton has no API a third party can use. Yahoo and generic IMAP would mean holding a password rather than a revocable token, and we will not. CalDAV for iCloud, Fastmail and Nextcloud is on the list for later.
